PROPER CLOTHING

They say that clothes do make the man;
Nevertheless, I have my doubts.
For as I move from place to place,
The world seems filled with well-dressed louts.

And when you look beneath the frill,
You seldom find what you’d expect.
No man deserves to be admired
Unless he’s first clothed with respect.
