Our itinerary

Our trip began on July 27, 2000 and we returned home on August 10.    We flew from Las Vegas to Chicago, had dinner at the airport with Nancy's cousin Tony and his lovely wife Susie, and then flew to Copenhagen.  We spent a day visiting Copenhagen and then boarded the ship.  After cruising the Baltic Sea, we arrived in Tallinn, Estonia and spent the day.  Next stop was St. Petersburg, Russia where we spent 2 days.  On the first of those days, we flew to Moscow and visited The Kremlin and Red Square.  Next stop was Helsinki, Finland for a day and then on to Stockholm, Sweden.  We then cruised the beautiful Stockholm Archipelago on our way to Kalmar, Sweden.  The following day, we arrived in Warnemünde, Germany where we left the ship to board the train to Berlin.  After a full day visiting East and West Berlin, we returned to the ship and sailed to Århus, Denmark for a day's visit.  On the following day we arrived in Oslo, Norway, toured the city and then sailed the incredible Oslofjords on our way to the North Sea.  After a final day at sea, we arrived in Harwich, England and were taken to Heathrow Airport in London for the flight home.  We spent a total of 12 days on the ship and visited 12 cities.  Whew!
